4. Roll adjusting device: Used to adjust the roll gap to achieve the required cross-sectional dimensions of the workpiece. The upper roll adjusting device of the top-adjustment rolling mill is also called the "lowering device".

5. Upper roll balancing device: Used to lift the upper roll and prevent impact when the workpiece enters and exits the rolls.
